--------------Rotoscope--------------
This animation is rotoscope. I chose this animation because, its weird. The animation is simple, but when it all is put together, it creates a strange animation which looks cool. The thing that attracted me to this video was the image of some guy with grass growing out his face. It seemed weird, but looked like there was a lot of thought put into it. The artist made this with line, color, shape, movement, pattern, and rhythm. Line was in outline of the guy, shape was in the patterns of triangles in his eyes which moved with rhythm to them. Movement was in the growing of the guy's beard, and color was in the beard. I think this guy was high when he made this, so that doesn't connect to my life, however what does connect to my life is the beard. Once I had a Chia pet once, and it reminded me of the guy's beard.

-------------------------------Computerized---------------------------
This animation is all computerized. The thing that drew me to this was the image of the mountain in the back on the video image. I just really like mountains, so I clicked on this. Plus, it looked high-end. There was a lot of movement, color, shape, light/shadow, and proportions. This video is basically just a bunch of animations through into one clip, so the elements and principles are all over. Movement was in the flying of the bird, the horses, and the moss growing, all whom had really good proportions to them. Color was in the trees, and light/shadow was in the side of the mountain. This connects to my life because, of the story behind some of it. It all seems like a huge adventure with ups and downs the way that this was put together. The music in it made it seem like a story, like all the animations are part of some fight.

-------------------------------Hand Drawn-----------------------------
This is a hand drawn animation. he thing that drew me to this video was at all the detail in it. There are layers upon images which consist of a tone of details. There seemed to be a mass amount of time put into it too, which adds to the animation. There was movement, line, and pattern i this. Movement was in the way the images on top of the next just slammed into view. Line was in the outlines of the pipes, the eye, and the mountain. Then, pattern was in the background, and the boxes that rose up. What I like about this is the idea behind it. It was what the creator saw in his experience seeing the world. He saw nature, that was overcome with industrialization. Seeing the change in what things used to be, and how overtime they became something different. This relates to me because, I see things. I see nature for what it is, and how overtime those images change. Like, I see pretty land that has everything on it torn down to build up ugly houses that all look the same. This guy, however, the the beauty in it maybe. It has what man has seen throughout the centuries going from stars and mountains, to cities, then to a bunch of images of complex shapes that are like the expanding minds of people. Lastly, it had the view leave the planet. The music really made this sound like a bad thing rather than a good thing. It was the sounds of loud hammers hitting iron.

-------------------------------Hand Drawn-----------------------------
This is a sand animation. The thing that drew me to this was the image of the blank landscape in the sand. There is movement, line, and light/shadow. There is no color, since this is all done in the sand, and there is no widespread color pallet used. Movement was in the lighting coming down, light/shadow was in the shadows of where the girl was standing, and line was in the outlines of the umbrella. This does relate to my life because, I like rain and lighting. I like how the sand moves with the other objects in it, without looking choppy. I don't know how they did this, since it looks like this couldn't have been made with only sand.

----------------------------Computerized------------------------------
This animation is similar to the one above. It's all computerized, except for some small parts of it. The thing that drew me to it was the image of the solider people standing, so I thought it would be cool. There is movement, proportion, color, and light/shadow. The movement was in the people moving and jumping around, color was in the different color's of the people's outfits, proportion was in the figures, and light/shadow was in the shadow of the people. This doesn't relate to me, but this also shows a story. It is like a progression of a story of different animation into one clip. The author was trying to make this seem like a story. Like there is an evolution to a certain end which is brought to life by using multiple animations.

--------------------------Hand Drawn----------------------------------
This is a hand drawn animation. What drew me to this was how simple it looked. It seemed like it got the basic movement and such down without having to have so much detail in it. The elements and principles in it were line, shape, and movement. Line was in the basic outlines of the stick people, shape was in the saw, and movement was in the guy cutting the wooden logs. This relates to my life because, it is simple. Everything in the animation is simply made, and doesn't have some weird process of getting it finished. The author was trying to make this just a simple way of expressing the basics of animation. The basics were not in detail, so these are like the bones behind what animation is today.
